An international contemporary dance festival rooted in a small Sicilian town and open to the world.
Condrò · Sicily
Founded and directed by Elisabetta Minutoli, Condrò in Danza gathers artists, students and audiences around performance, creative practice and cultural exchange.
The project
Condrò in Danza turns Elisabetta’s relationship between New York and Sicily into a living cultural platform. Contemporary dance arrives in the town not as a distant event, but as an encounter with the community.
The festival brings together performance and learning: artists share completed works, open creative processes and movement practices with audiences and participants.
Its scale is intimate by choice. Proximity between artists, place and public creates the conditions for genuine conversation and for new collaborations to begin.
Contemporary dance works presented in direct dialogue with the place and its audience.
Workshops and shared practice connecting artists, dancers and the next generation.
A festival built through hospitality, participation and exchange between Sicily and international guests.
Editions
Condrò in Danza welcomed its first artists and audience, closing the edition sold out.
The completed version of Elisabetta Minutoli’s Antigone was presented at the festival with Sandsilk Dance Company.
Condrò in Danza welcomes conversations with artists, teachers, cultural institutions and partners interested in building meaningful exchange with Sicily.
